Q: What do I need to add to a Tracker 5500 to display depth?
Answer: The Tracker 5500 is only able to display depth information received from a depth device capable of communicating either NMEA or NavBus.

Answer: What do I need to add to get my unit to display depth? Is it just a matter of adding a transducer? A. A Tracker 5500 is not capable of performing the function of a depth sounder. It is not possible to connect a transducer to a Tracker 5500.

Answer: The chart card used in the Tracker 5500 is a C-Map NT+ card. You can purchase these CMap chart cards from most marine electronics supply stores.
